About Indian elephants
Indian elephants live throughout Southeast Asia, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Laos, Peninsular Malaysia, Burma, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Indian elephants have larger heads, shorter necks, and smaller ears than African elephants. The legs are short but strong, and they support the entire weight like a pillar. They also have a more curved spine than African elephants and small spots where the pigment on their skin has been removed.
They feed on grass, but they also eat bark, roots, leaves, and thin stems in large quantities. They also like agricultural crops such as bananas, rice, and sugar cane.
