Payoo is a game designed by Kazi Studios to promote the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit Nepal. It also illustrates endangered animals based on the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan prepared by the Government of Nepal. Payoo is a simple card game where you have to find a common pattern between the cards you have and the cards in your pile of draws. You can play it in 5 different ways. It comes with a design manual in English. This game is a card game that can be enjoyed by different generations. Target age 4 years old or older About Nepal Nepal has an altitude of 70~8,848 meters, and the topography changes dramatically over a relatively short distance of 150~250km, making the diversity of flora and fauna unique and rich. Nepal is divided into five main terrain zones stretching from east to west, including High Himal, High Mountain, Middle Mountain, Siwalik, and Terai. The climate varies from the alpine cold semi-desert type over the Himalayas to the tropical humid type of the Terai lowlands. Wetland ecosystems are of great ecological importance, home to many endangered flora and fauna, and are a resting place for globally endangered migratory birds. Many species of flora and fauna, including 54 species of wild mammals and 18 species of trees, are on the verge of extinction. Birds are one of the most threatened groups in the fauna. Multiple factors are degrading Nepal's biodiversity. Examples include the expansion of arable land, infrastructure development, habitat degradation, uncontrolled forest fires, grazing, illegal poaching and wildlife trade, human-wildlife conflicts, invasion of non-native plants, commercialization of pesticides, mismanagement, and poor governance. The game was designed and produced by Kazi Studios to illustrate Nepal's rich biodiversity, raise awareness of endangered species, and protect Nepal's rich biodiversity. Payoo consists of 57 cards, each of which has 8 symbols on it. There is always only one matching symbol between two cards. We will find patterns that differ only in the same shape, the same color, and the size. It may just be a different size. The objective of the game is to collect as many cards as possible by finding matching images between two cards. How to play 5 games ⇩ Game 1: Tower Prepare for the game: Deal one card to each player face down. Place the remaining cards face up in the center of the table to form a draw pile. Objective of the game: Collect the most cards. Example of a three-player setup: The player playing the game simultaneously turns the cards face up and finds a single common pattern on both the central card and their own card. As soon as you find a matching pattern, call it out. Then place the center card face up on top of your own card to create a personal pile. Then, use the new top card in your personal pile to find a card that matches your new central card. Keep playing until you run out of cards in the draw pile. The game wins: The player with the most cards wins. Game 2: The Well Prepare for the game: Place one card face up in the center of the table. Deal the remaining cards face down to all players as evenly as possible. The goal of the game: to lose all the cards in your hand first Example of a three-player setup: At the same time, the player flips the entire drawpile so that it is face up. The first player to find the same mark on both his top and middle cards calls the mark and places his card at the top of the central pile. That card will immediately become the new center card. Continue playing until one player runs out of cards. Game Victory: The first player to run out of cards wins. Game 3: Hot Potatoes Preparation for the game: Deal one card to each player face down. Decide how many rounds you want to play (minimum 5 rounds). The objective of the game: to have the fewest number of cards after all rounds have been completed.　 Example of a 4-player setup: At the same time, turn the card face up. The cards must be laid flat on the palm of each player's hand. If your card matches the design of another player's card, call it out and place your card face up on top of the other player's card. If you have two or more cards in your hand, look only at the top card to find a match. When you find a matching card, you give all of your cards to the matching player. Play continues until one player has all the cards. That player loses the round and puts a card in front of him. A new round begins. At the end of the last round of winning the game, the player with the fewest cards in their hand wins. Game 4: Poisoned Gifts Preparing for the game: Each player is dealt one card face down, and the rest of the cards are placed face up in the center of the table for a draw pile. The objective of the game: to have the fewest number of cards. Example of a 4-player setup: At the same time, turn the card face up. The player looks for a match between the central card and the other player's card. When you find a matching card, call it. Then take the middle card and place it on top of the other players' cards that have been matched. This is the "poisoned gift". Repeat this process and continue playing until you run out of cards in the draw pile. Game Win: The player with the fewest number of cards wins. Game 5: Triplet Prepare for the game: turn all the cards face down into a pile. Take the first nine sheets and place them face up on the table. The goal of the game: to collect the most cards. Example of play: The player searches for the same picture from three cards at the same time. If all three cards have the same design, it becomes a matching set. As soon as you find a matching set, call it. Take 3 cards with matching symbols and replace them with 3 new cards. The game ends when there are no more than 9 cards left and there are no more matching sets of 3 cards. Game Win: The player with the most cards wins.
