In Saga Prefecture, we wanted to create something new, so we made a coffee filter that uses the unique tens of micron holes in ceramic (pottery). The taste of coffee varies greatly during the filtration and brewing process. LOCA, developed with our unique ceramic technology, is the ultimate filter that three-dimensionally removes miscellaneous flavors and brings out the original clear taste and aroma of coffee beans. At first glance, it does not look like a material that allows liquids to pass through, but as described, there are countless small holes. While thoroughly removing fine impurities, it is possible to extract coffee oil that cannot be extracted with a paper filter, achieving an unprecedented mellow taste.
