The taste has fresh blackberries and espresso, and is complex with fine tannins (astringency) and plenty of acid. The balance is very good, and it continues with a beautiful finish in a consistency. Although it was a hot year, it also had the characteristics of a cool Cabernet (acidity and low alcohol), making it a very elegant wine. Made in France, 100% new oak barrels. About the 2022 vintage For me, 2022 was the year of my commemoration of turning my field into Oak Knoll, which is cool even in Napa. In terms of weather, 2022 was a very hot year. Especially while many growers were damaged by the extreme heat that hit many times in the summer, fortunately, my vineyard was in a cool area, so I was able to grow wonderful grapes with little damage. The resulting wine is elegant, which is my style.
