□ Akane
It was born from the seed parent 'Kouyu' × the pollen parent 'Worcester Peamain', and was registered as a variety in 1970.
The acidity inherited from its parent is a refreshing tartness that can be felt closer to citrus fruits.
Akane is known for its tartness, but this year it has become fully ripe, resulting in a stronger sweetness and a richer flavor.
■ Tsugaru
A variety created by crossing 'Golden Delicious' and 'Kogyoku'.
Although Kogyoku is the parent of the Kogyoku family, it has little acidity, a smooth sweetness, and a honey-like aroma characteristic of Tsugaru.
The grain sticker design features 'Goldfish Neputa,' a symbol of Aomori's summer.
□ Hirosaki Fuji
< early-maturing Fuji is harvested more than a month earlier than the usual Fuji trees discovered by chance on > trees.
Enjoy the well-balanced sweet-tart flavor.
The grain sticker design features Hirosaki's iconic 'Iwakiyama'. This is the view from our garden.
■ Crested Ibis
This variety was developed in 1985 by Mr. Denshiro Toki from Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, through crossbreeding.
The seed parent is said to be 'Ohrin,' and the pollen parent is 'Fuji.' You can taste its unique aroma and a rich, honey-like sweetness.
Although the grain sticker design isn't inspired by the ibis, I tried flying a white bird that reminds me of it.
□ San Jona Gold
Jonagold, grown in bags without bagging, and grown under plenty of sun (SUN-Sun) is called 'San Jonagold.'
You can really taste the sour and sweet flavors.
■ Shinano Suite
This variety was born from 'Fuji' and 'Tsugaru'.
The deep flavor within the sweetness can be tasted like honey. It's rich, so I mixed it with soda.
It's a juice you can enjoy when drizzled like syrup over yogurt.
The grain sticker design expresses the sweetness of Shinano Sweet in a cute retro vibe.
□ Kagayaki Blend
We squeezed and blended whole apples of Mori no Kagayaki, Toki, and Hirosaki Fuji.
By adding the sweet flavor of Mori Kagayaki to the ibis and Hirosaki Fuji,
Each individuality comes together to create a fragrant blend.
The grain sticker design combines the individuality of the apples, creating a vibrant appearance.
■ Shinano Gold
A variety with both sweetness and acidity.
Freshly harvested has a tangy flavor, and the gradually mellow sweetness develops into a subtle change, which is enjoyable.
When you taste it as a juice, Shinano Gold might have the strongest impact.
The grain sticker design features a color scheme inspired by gold.
□ San Fuji
Fuji is grown using a bagged cultivation method, bathed in plenty of sunlight (SUN).
The sweetness and umami enhanced by exposure to plenty of sunlight are the beloved taste of Sun Fuji.
The grain sticker design evokes the December event of Christmas when Sun Fuji is delicious.
■ Cosmo Fuji
Cosmo Fuji was discovered by chance because some of the apples growing on the Fuji tree have different coloring. While it is usually displayed in supermarkets as 'Sun Fuji,' at Velsenbaum, I wanted you to enjoy it as 'Cosmo Fuji.'
Enjoy the rich flavor of Fuji and the pleasant texture that makes you want to eat it raw when eaten raw.
