The main raw materials for plastic-free tumblers are PLA (polylactic acid), which is mainly made from lactic acid obtained by fermenting corn starch, and paper.
By making it with earth-friendly materials, it has a unique texture of natural materials, such as ceramics and wood products, and we value individuality such as color and shade so that you can use it with affection.
"I want to use my cup, but I want to avoid plastic products!"
"I want to use something that is good for the environment, and design is also important..."
This product is recommended for those who say.
■CO2 reduction: Approximately 400g-CO2e/piece reduction
*This data is a comparison based on the specific gravity of the material, assuming PP (polypropylene) material of the same shape and volume. The evaluation is based on LCA (raw material-commercialization-incineration) based on theoretical combustion, and each material has the same grade (heat-resistant/non-heat-resistant, etc.).
■Particular design
The plastic-free tumbler has a simple design to take advantage of the unique material feel.
In order to straighten the silhouette of the side of the tumbler, we are particular about post-processing from the mold, and finally polish it to give it a matte texture.
■Commitment to packaging
The packaging uses "chipball", which is 100% recycled paper made from waste paper from newspapers and magazines.
■Hot drinks are also OK
While many products with high plant-derived ingredients and high purity do not have heat resistance, the heat resistance of plastic-free tumblers is 120°C, so you can use them for hot drinks with confidence.
■Materials that harmonize with the earth
About 86% of plastic-free tumblers are made of resin and paper derived from corn, which are plant-derived ingredients.
The main ingredients are natural viscosity minerals (about 7%) and petroleum-derived additives (about 7%) to ensure heat resistance. *1
In addition, most of the material is broken down into water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms. *2
*1 Please be assured that the minimum additives used comply with the Food Sanitation Act stipulated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
Many of the so-called eco-friendly products do not mention additives.
Please note.
*2 The time and degree required for disassembly vary greatly depending on the environment, so we cannot guarantee 100%.
■Recycling instead of disposable
PAPLUS® products are incinerated if they are disposed of as garbage. It is carbon neutral (virtually does not increase CO2) because it is mostly made of plant-derived ingredients, but please cooperate in recovering it as a resource and reproducing it rather than incinerating it as garbage. Let's create a new cycle together.
Note: Recycling is only available for businesses in Japan.

■Disclosure of the process of recovery and reproduction from production
