Fukiage Town is located on the west side of the Satsuma Peninsula, facing the East China Sea. Fukiage Beach, which is famous as one of Japan's three major sand dunes, continues on the west coast of Kagoshima. On a scenic slope overlooking Fukiage Beach and the East China Sea, there is Kurokawa Farm, which has been cultivating citrus for three generations of parents and children. Kurokawa Farm grows a variety of citrus fruits, but "red perilla" has been growing naturally since ancient times. When I looked it up, I found a native variety with no name. It is a red perilla that has existed in the land of Fukiage for a long time. This time, we extracted red perilla from Kurokawa Farm and used Kagoshima's citric acid and black vinegar as secret ingredients to make craft beer.
