The Brain Fest Executive Committee is an organization that spreads social understanding of stroke and disability and provides support. Yoccatta was commissioned by the members of "Brain Fest" to plan a "3-way backpack that is easy to use even with one hand" based on the yoccatta backpack, and announced it in 2023 as the "SIDE MY LIFE" series. This time, we have planned a tote bag advocated by Junya Kobayashi, the representative of who is also a person with hemiplegia, to express a "gradient society" that eliminates the barriers between people with disabilities and able-bodied people. The "Stroke Festival" (commonly known as the "Brain Festival") is held once a year, where people with disabilities, their families, and friends gather. The picture book writer Yutaka Nakagaki, who is in charge of the graphics, drew it under the title "Gradient City TOKYO". Shibuya on the left and Asakusa on the right. In the crowded intersection, people with disabilities, the elderly, children, police officers, and even "Yuurei" are mixed together, and each small story is interspersed. In the blow ide, the first Japanese that foreigners learn is depicted. In a casual pattern, you can find familiar events and travel memories, creating a fun tote bag. We plan to donate a portion of the sales of this "Gradient City TOKYO" patterned tote bag to the "Brain Festival".
