Royal Copenhagen, a Danish ceramics manufacturer that almost draws you into the world of blue and white. In the early 1770s, the scientist Müller succeeded in firing Denmark's first porcelain, marking the beginning of its history. He worked on pottery using the 'under-grace technique,' where bisque ware was colored, coated with a coating, and fired at high temperatures. These ceramics were beloved and widely known among the upper class in 19th-century Europe. He was later raised under the warm protection of the Danish royal family. Royal Copenhagen's products, created while reflecting each era, are still passed down today through the finest craftsmanship cultivated over many years. Influenced by Japan's Arita ware, the traditional cobalt blue arabesque pattern of Copenhagen strongly reflects the delicate and refined spirit of the artisans. Royal Copenhagen's figurines have a long history. Since the first figurine was unveiled in Paris's Expo Park in 1889, it has continued to be produced using unchanged techniques to this day, supported by the craftsmanship of skilled artisans. While inheriting tradition, new figurines are introduced every year. They are also well known for their warm expressions and gestures. Series Commemorative Plate The Millennium Plate commemorates 2000 and was produced in a set of six sheets from 2000 to 2005. This series centers on environmental protection and peace on Earth, telling the story of Frederick and Emma traveling from space to Earth.
