[Product features and manufacturing background]
In the manufacturing process at the factory that makes Tango Chirimen, a high-end kimono fabric that has been in business for 100 years, in Kyoto, silkworms, which are the raw materials for silk, and sericin, which is originally attached to cocoons, are fully extracted by processing to make yarn. The biggest feature of the product is that it is a yarn made with sericin intact, and it is a technology that cannot be done by other companies. Of course, 100% silk is a natural material, and silk is made from the same proteins as human skin. The products are knitted one by one by elderly people living in Tango who are good at knitting. When you touch it, it is crunchy with the texture of sericin, but when you soak it in hot water, it becomes soft. About 150 ultra-fine silk threads pulled out of the cocoon are bundled, so it foams well, and the fibers reach the fine parts of the skin and exfoliate.
