This wool cushion cover is made from jacquard fabric.
We designed the original and fun city atmosphere of Undyd Plus and made it in Nepal with hand-woven jacquard weave.
Hand-woven jacquard is difficult because the pattern stretches and contracts depending on the amount of force, and it requires skilled skill. The handmade cloth has the warmth and gentle taste of hand-woven fabric.
Since it uses undyed wool, the subtle shades are gentle and do not get bored.
There are four types: brown on a white background, white on a brown background with a gray background, and gray pattern on a white background. Since jacquard is a double-sided weave, it is inverted to create two patterns: one with a pattern on a white background and one with a white pattern on a colored background. It is used to put the panya in and out with a zipper. There is also a large size of 45×45 cm.
Jacquard weaving is woven on a "loom" developed in 1806 by Joseph-Marie Jacquard of France. It refers to the design itself, which is not printed on the fabric from above, but is woven into the fabric. According to the design, we make a card with holes in a thick paper called a punch card, and weave the fabric according to the instructions. It is characterized by a natural three-dimensional effect and a sense of luxury. By alternating weaving with two different colors of warp and weft, even complex patterns can be reproduced. This product is hand-woven on a jacquard loom in Nepal.
