Passing on the fragrance beyond time.
The smoke that wears the memory of aging adds a story to your cup.
At first, it was just curiosity.
"Barrel wood that has aged whiskey for many years will definitely still produce something 'good', right?"
So, our Sake Hack Project made it into a glass bottle and soaked it in alcohol. Then, it turned out to be surprisingly delicious.
That's right. The barrel is impregnated with the ingredients of whiskey that has been grown over time. If you pour new sake into it, it will ooze out the "flavor of time".
So, I thought: "Wouldn't this barrel wood make the smoke better?"
Existing cocktail smoker? There are certainly a lot of things. But to be honest, they're all "decent". The main body is just wood, and chips are often "just wood chips".
But ours is different. We did our best to make smoked chips. Whiskey-soaked offcuts from the processing of barrel wood are luxuriously made into smoked chips. Moreover, it is blended with Scottish peat. ...... this peat becomes addictive again, you can't help but groan, "Oh, this is the scent I smelled at the bar."
It's not just smoke, it's smoke that stimulates memory. And this scent, if you like alcohol, you will surely be addicted. It is perfect not only for those who are fascinated by peaty whiskey, but also for those who want to be a little particular about the aroma. That smokiness that passes through the nose changes the aftertaste of the first bite.
It's okay for beginners. But once you fall in love with this scent, you may never be able to go back.
The main body, the chips, and everything else are designed to "elevate the time of drinking". That's why we made many prototypes with Hamamatsu woodworkers and finally applied for a patent for this structure. Even though it is roasted from above, smoke flows into the glass like a waterfall. At that moment, a simple drink becomes a story.
And so was the #酒ハック keg smoker.
