"Eat" the blessings of nature in its entirety
"Eating Green Tea" is a new style of tea that is made by powdering the whole organic JAS-certified green tea grown in the mountains of Dokai Town, Mie Prefecture.
Since the 1970s, the tea plantations of Watarai, which have been nurtured by the nature of the clear stream of Miyagawa, have been carefully growing tea without using any pesticides or chemical fertilizers, starting to prepare the soil with homemade ripe compost.
The tea leaves created by organic cultivation techniques cultivated over half a century and coexistence with nature are processed into a form that can be eaten whole.
Tea husks, which are discarded when only brewed, contain abundant nutrients (catechins, vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, etc.).
With "green tea to eat", you can deliver all of it to your body in its entirety.
■ Safety and Security Initiatives (Food Safety Management)
Based on the idea that "Eating Green Tea" provides the highest level of peace of mind because it enters the body, we are working on the following quality and safety management.
・Acquired organic JAS certification (pesticide-free and chemical-free)
Since the 1970s, we have been practicing farming methods that coexist with nature. We only use tea leaves grown in rich soil with homemade compost.
・Obtained JFS-B standard conformity certification (2018)
Shinsei Wataraicha has obtained a certificate of conformity with the JFS-B standard, a food safety management standard established by the Japan Food Management Association (JFSM). By maintaining this certification standard and further strengthening it in the future, we will continue to deliver "safe and reliable green tea products" to everyone.
