Murakami black tea with the climate and history of the snowy country
"Snow Country Black Tea", which was nurtured by the climate of Murakami in the snowy country, is a black tea made with many tea leaves picked in autumn from the tea plantations of Murakami City, the northernmost part of Niigata Prefecture. Tea leaves grown slowly in a cool climate are characterized by soft fibers, mild astringency, and a natural sweet aroma.
Murakami's tea was exported overseas during the Meiji era, and black tea was also manufactured. After exports were cut off at the end of the Meiji era, tea was no longer produced, but it was revived in 2004 after about 100 years due to the inheritance of local thoughts and technology. "Snow Country Black Tea", which is produced mainly from green tea varieties and also using native varieties, is different from general overseas black tea, and has a gentle and delicate taste that gives you a sense of the lineage of Japanese tea.
You can enjoy it as a cup that goes well with Japanese sweets and Japanese food every day.
