In 2014, while in New York, he won the Honeberg Traveling Prize and held a solo exhibition in New York after staying in Italy for three months. After that, he moved his base to Hokkaido, and in May 2022, he recorded the highest number of visitors ever at the Toyako Museum of Art, with his first solo exhibition and special exhibition at the museum.
