Starting from the Year of the Dog, the FLATS zodiac series is produced every year with the animal of that year's zodiac sign as a motif. It can be assembled without scissors, cutters or glue.
FLATS "Tatsudan" is a dragon model created in the Year of the Dragon in 2012. The main body of the dragon model consists of 121 parts, and is characterized by delicately finished details such as claws, beards, horns, and other tips. The form of the dragon is nine-like, that is, each of the nine parts is made to resemble another animal. The horns are those of a deer, the ears are of a cow, the head is of a camel, the eyes are of a rabbit, the scales are of a carp, the claws are of a hawk, the palm is of a tiger, the belly is of a mizuchi, and the nape of the neck is of a snake. Organizing each feature line to form a single image is what FLATS is best at. In that sense, the dragon model, which combines multiple symbols, is the model that most clearly embodies the concept of FLATS.
The FLATS zodiac series can be assembled without scissors, cutters or glue. (Some parts such as feet are very small, so it is easy to assemble with tweezers.)
Please enjoy the zodiac series with FLATS' exquisite modeling.
