The main raw materials for PAPLUS® products are PLA (polylactic acid), which is mainly lactic acid obtained by fermenting corn starch, and paper. By making it from earth-friendly materials, it has a unique texture of natural materials like pottery and wood products, and we value individuality such as color and shade so that you can use it with love. ■ Particular design PAPLUS® is as particular about design as it is about the environment. We try to create a minimalist and timeless design that you will love the longer you use it. ■ Heat-resistant grade While many products with high purity of plant-derived ingredients do not have a heat-resistant function, the heat-resistant temperature of PAPLUS® plates is 120°C. You can use it with warm food on it with peace of mind. ■ Materials that are in harmony with the earth Approximately 84% of PAPLUS® plates are made of corn-derived resin and paper, which are plant-derived ingredients. Natural viscosity minerals (approx. 8%) and petroleum-derived additives (approx. 8%) are added to the main components to ensure heat resistance. *1 In addition, most of the material is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by the action of microorganisms. *2 *1 Please be assured that the minimum additives used comply with the Food Sanitation Law stipulated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Many so-called eco-friendly products do not mention additives. Please be careful. *2 The time and degree required for decomposition vary greatly depending on the environment, so we do not guarantee 100%. ■ Recycle instead of throwing away If PAPLUS® products are thrown in the trash, they will be incinerated. Since it is made almost entirely from plant-derived ingredients, it is carbon neutral (virtually does not increase CO2), but please cooperate in recovering it as a resource and remanufacturing it instead of incinerating it as garbage.
