◆ About the traditional culture used
●Kafiya●
A textile that has long been cherished as a sunshade for farmers. It is the only remaining workshop in Palestine, producing 180 pieces daily. It is also used as a cultural symbol in traditional dance costumes and school uniforms.
◆ About the creator "Aisha Design"
Aisha, a Palestinian, works under the title × environmental designer and creates products that combine upcycled materials with traditional culture. With the desire for people to learn about their hometown, often called a "conflict zone," through culture, she employs people from areas that especially need income, and promotes courses to prevent plastic waste and tree planting in the community, making her a truly wonderful woman who pushes forward with dedication. I learned about her work through social media and wanted to introduce it in Japan, so I reached out to her.

At the end of the 19th century, in this region where various religions coexisted side by side, a movement called for a country made up of only one ethnic group
Coming from the West, Palestine came under occupation, and even though freedom was not in reach, life continued,
Visiting such a place, I wanted to live in a world where people, culture, and nature are valued as a matter of course, and to work with these people by multiplying them—so I started using chopsticks.
