Originally, Ibushi tiles have a water absorption rate of 10%, but the water absorption is further increased by unglazing the middle of the glass, and even if water droplets are attached, they are quickly absorbed and the water is diffused in the air.
"Ibushi tiles" are made by soaking in a kiln without using glaze or paint, and a silver film of carbon is formed on the surface. Made only from natural ingredients, it is environmentally friendly and exudes a deep taste.
We utilize the manufacturing technology of "Ibushi tiles", which has supported Japan architecture since ancient times, not only for "tiles" but also for "crafts".
