This product was born from my own experience of evacuating to an evacuation center during the torrential rains of Typhoon No. 19 in 2019.

Evacuation in the torrential rain was more difficult than I had imagined, and the disaster prevention bag I had prepared could not fit all my belongings, so I chose the minimum necessary items and packed them in my bag and evacuated.

At night shelters, in order to go to the toilet when the lights are out, you have to walk through the gaps between the sleeping people and illuminate them with a light. With a flashlight, the light was linear and strong, and it made the people around me feel dazzled.

When I experienced the actual evacuation, I saw with my own eyes that there was a problem with lighting that I had not imagined, and the situation of the evacuation center was even more stressful for both the users and the people who used it in extreme anxiety.

When I came up with the idea of turning a flashlight into a lantern, I remembered spending a night worrying about whether the emergency supplies I had brought with me would be enough, and what if I couldn't use the only one because the battery ran out or malfunctioned, and I thought it was important to have a product that could make the most of the flashlights that many households have.

TOMORI AID can be converted into a lantern from any manufacturer as long as it is an LED flashlight of the right size, so it can be used in various situations whether you already have a flashlight or a flashlight you are going to buy.
