Okuyamato Beer is more than just a craft beer.
We make "beer where you can feel the aroma of the four seasons of Nara". It is a craft beer full of individuality unique to this region, such as "Herbal Beer" that blends Japanese herbs and aromatic herbs to relax the mind and body, and "Seasonal Beer" that uses fruits and medicinal herbs produced in the Okuyamato area as ingredients.
It is brewed not only with the deliciousness of beer, but also with the aim of a natural, refreshing, and easy-to-drink taste so that it can be easily paired with dishes using Yamato's traditional vegetable "Yamato vegetables".
And we are also particular about "where to drink beer".
The "TAP ROOM" attached to the brewery serves freshly made draft beer. In addition to the large cedar single-plate counter, you can enjoy beer in a small raised space and an open porch.
The "TAP STUDIO", which was renovated from the ruins of a cram school in front of the station, provides a place to learn about beer.
In addition, based on the concept of "you can stay if you drink", we also operate a guesthouse called "TAP to BED" next to the brewery. In the wilderness of Nara and Okuyamato, we offer an experience where you can drink beer, stay overnight, and enjoy the charm of the land with your five senses.
Our beer production is based on the concept of "recycling," which makes use of local resources and values connections with people. For example, in cooperation with a fruit orchard in Nishiyoshino, we developed an apple beer that makes effective use of the skin and stem parts that are usually discarded. We are also developing products that value the relationship with the local community, such as sake lees beer in collaboration with local sake breweries.
Okuyamato Beer aims to create such a beer in which all the things that are related to each other are harmonized in one connection.
