Natural coloring unique to Japan
Natural plant dyeing in pursuit of color
Many towel dyes use petroleum-based colorings, but Kawakami Kogeisho dyes them with carefully selected plant extracts such as petals, leaves, trees, and fruits. Normally, it is very difficult to stably produce the desired color with plant dyeing, but with the knowledge and experience we have cultivated so far, we can dye deep natural colors. Dyed towels and washcloths are a tasteful natural color.
We are thoroughly committed to the processing that affects the finish of the towel, which is called scouring, and bring out the goodness of natural materials without using chemicals.

Tannins, a type of polyphenol contained in persimmon shibu, have excellent bactericidal power, and in order to achieve even higher antibacterial properties, antibacterial agents using nanotechnology are added.
As a result of the antibacterial test, the antibacterial activity value was 5.9 ~ 6.1, and even after 30 washes, it was an astonishing value of 4.5 ~ 6.1.
In the deodorant test, the reduction rate of ammonia, acetic acid, and isovaleric acid (the three major sweat odors) was 97~99%, and we were able to produce a towel with amazing antibacterial and deodorizing effects.
Even if you dry it in the room, it does not smell bad and can be used comfortably. Japan's color dyeing is a two-step process. First, we used a reactive dye to dye it into six colors, which are the base of Japan's colors, and persimmon astringent brown colors were added to all the colors, making it possible to express calm colors.
