Legends from the Shizuoka model world gather! A paper diorama for adults, packed with the true spirit of the 'Plastic Model Town.'
The products created by our "Shizuoka Plastic Model Project" embody the passionate passion and dedication of top creators and local companies that Shizuoka, the city of craftsmanship, are proud of.
Our biggest focus is on the packaging (box art), which can be called the "face" of the plastic model. Eiji Shimamura, a legend in the box art world who has created the packaging of many famous plastic models, lavishly painted the World Heritage Miho Pine Grove as a souvenir. Furthermore, the package design was handled by Norihiro Matsuo, who officially designed the plastic model-style monument 'Plamonument,' which is scattered throughout Shizuoka City and a tourist attraction. The design is refined and stands out in stores.
Also, even the instruction manual doesn't forget a playful touch. Daisuke Aoshima of Aoshima Bunka Kyozai (chairman of the Shizuoka Model Teaching Materials Cooperative), who appears as a hand model in the package assembly explanation, is extremely popular among core fans.
In the background of the diorama, you can see the magnificent Mt. Fuji from Shizuoka. And inside the jet flying in the sky, Tokugawa Ieyasu boards the armor clad in 'Kintame-nuku Gusoku,' and the secret base is covered by Shizuoka's famous 'tea fields,' creating a world packed with humor and rich in Shizuoka's history and culture, making you want to talk about it the more you learn.
We use safe, secure, and warm cardboard (paper) as the material, and pursue a unique design that completes a full-fledged diorama in 5 to 10 minutes without any adhesives or tools. We deliver Shizuoka's "seriousness" and "playful spirit" in palm-sized pieces.
