We are a creative agency located in Osaka. Normally, my job is to widely convey the appeal and value of the products and services of various operating companies to the world. The reason why we went beyond the realm of our existing business and came to produce and sell "REGRASS," a natural cosmetic product from a completely different field, was because of two "encounters."
The first encounter was the idea of farmer's cosmetics, which I learned about at a workshop on the SDGs, which I had been interested in for a long time. Farmer's cosmetics is a cosmetics manufacturing method that has been handed down in Europe for more than 800 years, and it is a style in which agriculture (nature) and technology (people) work together to make cosmetics, where there is a place to research and manufacture cosmetics next to a plant farm where the raw materials for cosmetics are grown. In Japan, I had an image of cosmetics as chemicals and mass production in factories, but by learning about the concept of cosmetics made with nature and the depth of its history, my awareness of cosmetics changed significantly. The second was an encounter with a company that practices farmer's cosmetics in Japan. We procure raw materials from neighboring contract farmers rather than our own farm, but the concept, philosophy, and manufacturing method are exactly the same as traditional farmer's cosmetics that have been handed down in Europe.
We have always wanted to create a business that can communicate directly with customers beyond existing domains, and these two encounters led us to start a project to develop and sell natural cosmetics REGRASS.
Based on the concept of products that are not only "useful" but also "meaningful" and contribute to sustainability, we are particular about raw materials, ingredients, manufacturing methods, and containers. I would be very happy if this brand called REGRASS would solve the skin and hair problems of our customers and give them an opportunity to become more aware of nature, the environment, and the future of society.
