As a Japan tea sommelier, Mr. Takayuki Ogawa is qualified by the Japan Tea Instructors Association and the Japanese Herb Association. Founded in 1975, he has led SHINRYOKU and has carefully selected the highest quality tea leaves using his unique blending technology to pursue new possibilities for Japan tea. He has won high praise both domestically and internationally, including the Gold Award at the 2012 and 2013 World Green Tea Contest and the Silver and Bronze Awards at the Japanese Tea Selection Paris 2019. Currently, he is involved in many brands of tea, including long-established restaurants, hotels, and votive teas in Japan and abroad.
