In order to find a manufacturer who would make the case, we first decided to make a mold sample of the case with commercially available synthetic leather material.
However, they didn't sell long zippers that could be used for round shapes, so I unwound a worn-out racquet bag to get a zipper, and I reused the piping tape by untying the garment case.
I use a professional sewing machine, but in order to sew a full-fledged case, it is necessary to change the presser metal and make adjustments, but even so, the curve line cannot be sewn well, and I have to untie and re-sew it many times, and my hand is injured. I have recognised that it is a completely different technique from sewing.
From my own experienceThis sewing set was created from the thoughts of "If we can cover the technique with easy-to-use tools, the image of sewing will change" and "Japan is proud that there are craftsmen who make good tools, and if we can contribute to protecting craftsmen by spreading the goodness of those tools"
We have collected only easy-to-use and highly durable tools, mainly made in Japan, which have been loved by sewing users for many years, such as the high-grade iron cutting shears "Shosaburo" that can be sharpened and used repeatedly if the sharpness deteriorates.
