Tempeh Chips' mission is to deliver healthy and delicious Asian snacks in a way that everyone can enjoy with peace of mind. To achieve this, we are thoroughly committed to everything from raw material selection to the manufacturing process and packaging.
First, instead of soybeans, the main ingredient is black eye beans (black-eyed beans), which have low environmental impact and are easy to digest. This enables the creation of products that consider diverse dietary habits and allergies, including soy free, gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, and halal. Furthermore, coconut oil is used without trans fats, bringing out a crispy texture and savory aroma.
For tempeh, traditional Rhizops-Oligosporus bacteria is used for fermentation, and a unique patented method maximizes the beans' umami and nutrition. This fermentation process enhances the digestion and absorption of protein, making it rich in nutrients such as vitamin B12.
During the manufacturing process, the beans are carefully pre-treated, then undergo five stages: fermentation, thin-slicing, frying in coconut oil, and seasoning with natural ingredients, resulting in additive-free natural chips. The seasoning also highlights natural ingredients like rosemary and sea salt, preserving the natural deliciousness of the ingredients. We continue to propose a new snack culture that blends tradition and innovation.
