The reason why we launched "Midori no Tane" was because we wanted to "naturally incorporate health into our daily lives." The founder, Yoshitaka Tachika, was once in charge of management strategy at the headquarters of a major convenience store, but he gave up his stable career and jumped into an unknown field with the belief that he wanted to deliver something truly valuable. It is important to be aware of health in our daily lives, but "ease" is also important for busy modern people. Therefore, I thought that if I could change the coffee I drink every day to something "healthy", I would be able to incorporate health into my daily life without difficulty.
Green coffee is rich in antioxidants such as chlorogenic acid, which is often lost in regular coffee by using green beans before roasting. While it can be expected to have various health benefits, such as stabilizing blood sugar and blood pressure, and improving liver function, some people said that it was "not like coffee" and "thin". However, as we repeatedly tried and tasted it, we received more positive voices, such as "I can drink this" and "It has a slight sweetness without sugar," and I was convinced of the potential of green coffee.
Our goal is not just to provide healthy food. "Create an opportunity to think about health from one cup of coffee". Health is not an obligation, but an option. Ideally, it is not something that is forced to continue, but something that naturally blends into your daily life.
