The biggest commitment of Setouchi Craft Lemonade is its manufacturing method.
We use lemons from Osaki Kamishima, Toyota District, Hiroshima Prefecture with the peel and ripen them slowly over a week. This allows you to bring out the full natural flavor and nutrients of lemons.
The sugar used is also a blend of five types of sugar, including Awa Wasanbon sugar, beet sugar, and cane sugar, which have been handmade by craftsmen since the Edo period. It is made with simple ingredients such as lemon and sugar without adding anything superfluous. Our thorough commitment to no additives and no preservatives creates a taste like no other.
*Our additive-free = no preservatives, colorings, flavors, or pH adjustments. Only fruits and blended sugar such as Japanese sanbon (not additives, but only double cherry blossoms use plum vinegar and salt)
*Other fruits are used depending on the variation.
In addition to lemons, there are also varieties that make use of ingredients unique to Japan, such as "blueberries" and "Ishiji tangerines" from Osaki Kamishima, "rusaka plums" from Wakayama, and domestic double cherry blossoms. While taking advantage of the individuality of each ingredient, we pursue exquisite harmony with lemons.
Our products are offered as "eating lemonade" rather than just drinks. In addition to being mixed with carbonated or hot water, it can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, such as pouring it over yogurt or ice cream, making cakes, or pairing it with alcohol.
Local ingredients are used, and every part that can be eaten is used and it is made with a lot of effort.
That is the spirit of "craft" in our opinion.
