"Kitchen fabrics that can only be made at an eco-factory"
Founded in 1982 by sewing kitchen fabrics such as aprons and placemats. The founder lost his father in the war and had experienced a poor life after the war, so the "mottainai spirit" was deeply rooted from the time of the company's founding, and he was very careful about saving electricity and wasting materials. In the 2000s, when there were no eco-bags yet, there was a request from customers and we decided to produce them. If you want to make eco-bags in-house, don't you think it has to be an environmentally friendly production plant? We strengthened cooperation with environmental issues and local communities, and before we knew it, our word "mottainai" came to be called the SDGs.
Since the 2000s, we have been continuously engaged in various other activities, such as "quantifying CO2 emissions, reducing resources, generating our own electricity, upcycling shredded scraps, monthly community cleaning, donating a total of 25,000 masks during the Corona disaster, and a drive-in theater that can be enjoyed even with the restrictions on going out during the Corona disaster." In 2021, we received the Eco Action 21 Minister of the Environment Award (Gold Award) from the Ministry of the Environment, and we will continue to expand the scope of our activities in the future.
Kitchen fabrics that can only be made at such an eco-factory. We are committed to sustainable manufacturing from raw materials to the production process, and propose manufacturing that will bring smiles to the environment and dining table of the future.
