I started CORNIE because of warm memories of my childhood in Korea. The days I lived with my grandmother until I was 10 years old, and the time I brewed tea with care for my body every season was an irreplaceable treasure for me.
In the summer, I use corn tea to keep my body from getting tired, and in the winter, I use yuzu tea and ginger tea to warm my body. A slightly modest expression of affection, "It's good for your body, drink it," has naturally taken root in Korean families. I have come to miss this warm and thoughtful culture unique to Korea the most while living abroad.
(Launch party: I gathered my acquaintances and enjoyed corn tea)
What can I do as a bridge between Japan and South Korea? When I thought about it, that nostalgic original experience came back to me. Now that K-pop and Korean cuisine are known around the world, I want more people to know about Korean tea, which expresses the culture of "affection" in Korea. With that in mind, CORNIE was born.
Caring for someone's body and brewing tea with all your heart. As such a slightly modest and warm presence, we aim to be a brand that is close to everyone's daily life.
