Originally from Tokyo, he moved to Hokkaido after graduating from university. When he was a student, he learned how to make Hamanasu jam from his mother at an inn in the Hidaka region of Hokkaido, where he went to play, and became addicted to making jam. After training at a culinary school in Obihiro and a restaurant in Hokkaido, he opened a jam and café shop in Higashikawa, Hokkaido in April 2021. I use jam in my cooking and I want to expand the possibilities of jam.
