Aotea is the sixth largest island in New Zealand. The area is 285 square kilometers. The Maori appeared in the distance as white clouds on the horizon, hence the name "Aotea Island", which means white cloud (ao – cloud, tea – white).
"Kawakawa" is an herb that has traditionally been used for various care in NZ. Ingredients are carefully extracted from carefully selected herbs unique to New Zealand, such as Kumarahou, which has been used as a natural soap.
In addition, the island's Manuka honey, which is one of the purest in NZ, is a "non-blended method" that does not mix honey from other regions, and the original power of the island's manuka is incorporated into the product.
All of AOTEA's products are infused with high-quality herbs that have been around since ancient times, as well as traditional Māori health practices.
We follow the Maori tradition and are committed to creating environmentally friendly products that use native herbs but never disrupt the ecosystem.
