Growing up in the rich nature of Croatia, I have been doing it since I was a child.
I dreamed, "It would be great if there was a chocolate tree in this forest."
That innocent imagination eventually grew into a grand dream of a "chocolate forest".
What I envisioned was more than just a chocolate shop.
Visitors taste chocolate, learn about cacao,
It is a "walking experience-type forest" where you can experience the story of chocolate.
Memories of the land where cocoa beans grew, the thoughts of farmers, and our passion
— I wanted to put all of them in a piece of chocolate.
CHOCO FOREST was born from such a dream. I was preparing to open a business in Croatia, but I moved to Japan to spend time with my family and set up a small workshop in Neyagawa, Osaka.
Although I was separated from my native forest, my dream did not disappear and became clearer.
Our goal is to bring joy and discovery to people through cocoa.
And it is to protect the cocoa culture and its bearers, and to pass it on to the next generation.
A piece of chocolate is filled with the landscapes, cultures, and lives of people in distant countries.
I want many people to experience this rich world
—That is the unchanging desire of CHOCO FOREST.
