MORIYAMA SHUICHI
Seijibei Moriyama is a paddy rice farmer who has been a rice farmer for five generations. The cultivation area of paddy rice is about 20 hectares, and we are also working on the sixth industrialization, and all rice for processing is naturally cultivated rice. In particular, we place emphasis on making processed products that take advantage of the nutrition and flavor of brown rice. In December of the first year of Reiwa, we received certification from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for sixth generation, and in April of the second year of Reiwa, our own okaki manufacturing plant (facility design with an awareness of hygiene management based on the concept of HACCP) was put into operation. At Food Messe in Niigata 2020 in November 2020, Reiwa 2, "Genmai Mochi Okaki" won the 5th 6th Kaku Grand Prize "Japan Food Shimbun Award".
