The ancient village of Myddfai is nestled in the deep mountains of Wales. For centuries, it has been known as a center of naturopathy and healing.
The story of Mydflower began in this mysterious land. The founders, David and Michael, are two friends united by a passion for nature, fireside talk, adventures in search of wild bounty, and the joy of sharing a cold cup on a summer day.
Their goal was not just a drink, but to awaken in the present day the memory of a time when nature and humans were in harmony. It was about feeling the changing seasons, listening to the voices of the land, and expressing a way of life that respects traditional wisdom.
Since ancient times, there has been a legend in Wales that the elderflower tree is inhabited by spirits, and it has been believed that this flower has the effect of warding off bad things. In fact, it is said that burning this wood in the fireplace is taboo, and on the contrary, it will attract evil spirits. The roots of the elderflower tree are said to lead to another world, and it has been recognized as a mysterious plant that is said to draw you into another world if you sleep under this tree.
Based in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, they took on the challenge of creating a timeless taste from wild elderflowers and mountain springs. It was more than just making a delicious drink.
By escaping the hustle and bustle of modern society and confronting the mysteries of nature, they dreamed of rediscovering forgotten values – coexistence with nature, the rhythms of the seasons, and the stories of the land – and encapsulating them in a cup.
Mydflower is a place where ancient wisdom meets modern sensibilities, and was created as a real "Wild Wine" that makes the most of the blessings of nature, and the packaging visually expresses the figure of a fairy so that you can recall that tradition.
