When brewed at high temperatures, it becomes a tea with a strong aroma, and when brewed at a low temperature, it becomes a tea with a strong flavor

■ Hanzu tea
In ancient times, it was made by roasting tea leaves using a water jar ("hanzu" in Kagoshima dialect).
It is a bancha that is transmitted to Kagoshima Prefecture.

It has been passed down to my wife, but production has been discontinued since around 2014, and it has become a tea that I only see in tea books.
However, from 2020, the third generation has been aiming for the revival and inheritance of Kagoshima's food culture.
