How Incense is made
Basically, all the scents of Tribe Earth begin with the discovery of new herbs, flowers, and barks. The duo is always looking for interesting plants in their hometown and exploring their potential through experimentation. Incense. They are handmade one by one in the workshop. After powdering the plant, add alkaline water and knead with your hands until you get a dough of the desired consistency. The dough is then formed into plates, cut and dried. Throughout the process, it incorporates dance, music, mantras, and more, creating in Tribe Earth's unique and free style.
Thinking about the earth with an awareness of the local
Sustainability is a core value at Tribe Earth. This philosophy is also reflected in the manufacturing process, where we insist on using every part of the plant to eliminate waste. Cedarwood is made from leftovers from making saunas, and often overlooked plants such as leaves, stalks, seeds, and bark are also incorporated into the product.
The raw materials are also sourced by hand, so most of the ingredients are locally sourced in Australia. Palo santo from Peru and other small quantities of exotic ingredients are purchased directly from sustainable sources. And sandalwood branches harvested in Western Australia support the base of the incense by Tribe Earth.
