At the core of our commitment is reforestation and environmental protection. It grows Palo Santo in Peru and works with 8 shelters and non-profit organizations. It uses 100 tonnes of biomass annually and more than 10,000 trees have been replanted in collaboration with Reforestarg, an organization that supports the ecological restoration of degraded primary forests.
Reusing waste resources is also an important initiative. We reuse the pulp that is discarded during the production of juices and other products and turn it into a sustainable raw material (biomass) in a natural way. By incorporating this neutral-scented biomass as the base of our Incense, we reduce the environmental impact of reusing materials.
All products are handmade and made with the utmost care. Each item is carefully finished one by one, using the skilled skills and passion of our craftsmen. It also actively employs local residents, and more than 120 families work in Sagrada Madre. 50% of them are women, who support the main livelihood of the household.
We also focus on eco-friendly packaging, using biomass as the base of our products, significantly reducing the use of charcoal, respecting the planet and minimizing our environmental impact. This approach is part of an attitude that emphasizes upcycling and harmony with nature.
