PLA fiber developed by Piecrex Co., Ltd. is an environmentally friendly polylactic acid fiber made mainly from starch derived from plants such as corn and sugar cane.
In addition, the biggest feature is that by applying a load such as expansion and contraction to the fiber, a weak electricity is generated in the fiber itself, and it is also an "electric fiber" that exhibits continuous antibacterial properties due to the action of the electricity.
By using PLA fiber in apparel products and towels, it has semi-permanent antibacterial properties. In addition, we aim to build a true circular infrastructure by collecting used P-FACTS products from everyone, composting them, and using them to grow the next plant and food.
Currently, industry-government-academia co-creation initiatives have already begun, such as the adoption of P-FACTS products in event products, corporate uniforms, school uniforms, etc., as well as the collection and composting of products after use.
