"Smile" is the common language of the world.
I want you to wear punana and gather with a smile.
When I was a student, I lived in Hawaii and learned that "smile" is a common language in the world. And I have a younger brother who was born with a severe disability. My brother's only way to communicate is with a smile.
We started the brand in 2021 with the hope that people would wear punana and gather with a smile.
"Punana" means "nest" in Hawaiian.
Birds work hard to build nests, raise their young there, and leave the nest from there. I feel that the nest is a place where I feel the energy of life and gather. When you wear an accessory, you say, "That's cute!" or "You look good!" You have friends and family who talk to you. I thought it would be wonderful to have this person talk to me and gather around me, so I decided to make an accessory with the image of a "nest" with the message "May you gather in your "nest"!
The five petals of the logo contain the meaning of "ALOHA".
Akahi Kindness
Lokahi 和合
'Olu'olu Joy
Ha'aha'a Humility
Ahonui Perseverance
Valuing these is punana's management philosophy.
