Bringing a scent that Japan can be proud of to the world
Experience preparing your mind with incense "Six in Sence"
In the past, I have experienced a loss of smell due to excessive stress. It was also a transitional period in my life, and I was unknowingly accumulating stress. Since that experience, I have learned how to use "scent" as my ally, and I have acquired the habit of consciously smelling it. Our sense of smell, which transmits information about scents present in the air, is very important for our survival. I don't think we usually breathe consciously, but as long as we do, scent information will constantly come to us. If you can, wouldn't it be nice if you could have information about a scent that is comfortable for you?
In the digital age, where information is always accessible, we can stay connected to the outside world. But what about the inner connection that is trying to face yourself? I believe that lighting incense, following the smoke with your eyes, consciously listening to the scent, and having time to listen to your heart is to face yourself and be close to your feelings. I launched a fragrance brand with the hope that I could prepare my mind with the Japan scent "Six in Sence".
The Japanese translation of "Six in Sence" is the Buddhist term rokune. "Root" means the power to feel, and the five senses and consciousness of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body are collectively called the six roots. And when these six forces make the mind and body pure, it is called the six roots of purification.
When we feel comfortable, we can honestly face ourselves and our surroundings. Through Bridge and Blend's "Six in Sence," we hope to connect the fragrances that Japan can be proud of to the world for the next 1,000 years. And we hope that in modern society, incense will be established as a home fragrance along with aromatic oils and candles.
