Seven years after its founding, it grew as a pioneer in steel household goods during the period of high economic growth.
Bunbuku was founded by the first generation, Shiro Takeuchi, in the 7th year of Taisho (1918). At that time, it was a zinc iron ware manufacturing company, producing water ladles, buckets, watering cans, etc.
After that, we overcame the turbulent and difficult times of the post-war period, and under the leadership of the second generation, Shigeru Takeuchi, we invested in equipment and established a system that could consistently manufacture hardware products, from the processing of metal sheets ~ the painting process. It was a period of high economic growth. Demand due to the rapid expansion of the economy was a tailwind. We are proud to be a pioneer in steel household goods, such as a household waste container with a character on a steel trash can, a scrap bin with a fancy pattern printed on it, a scrap bin with quilted wraps, and a steel tabletop accessory container. Long-selling products such as tapered buckets and rotary waste bins (rotary lid trash cans), which are still loved today, were born in this era.
We have always stood in the shoes of the users and have devoted ourselves to making high-quality products. This attitude, which has been in place since our founding, will not change in the future.

The company name "Bunbuku" is derived from the old tale "Bunbuku Chagama". At the time of its founding, the company name was not "Bunbuku", but the raccoon was used as a trademark. It seems that it was aimed at the auspiciousness of "surpassing others" and the effect of making a strong impression quickly. When we changed our company name, we changed our company name to "Bunbuku" because we wanted to be like that in both business management and social life, in reference to the "Bunfuku Chagama," which is said to have given back to the people who have taken care of us.
