We handle skin care and medicinal tea based on the philosophy of Chinese medicine. Currently, 80% of raw materials are made in China.Made from 100% domestic raw materialsI was particular about doing that.
■ Commitment to the raw materials used
There are three main reasons for sticking to domestic products.
(1) We use raw materials with clear traceability and want to convey the thoughts of the producers.
(2) The idea that raw materials grown in Japan's soil and water are more natural and comfortable for our bodies and skin living in Japan
(3) By being involved in agriculture, we aim to contribute to society through efforts to increase domestically produced Japanese and Chinese cultivation, such as abandoned farmland, which has become a social problem, and the need for urban revitalization using Japanese and Chinese cultivation
It was not easy to find domestic producers in a situation where domestic production was almost impossible, so we spent a lot of time looking for collaborators. As a result, we were able to obtain reliable raw materials that are evaluated by experts in pharmacy, agriculture, and Kampo medicine, including Professor Watanabe of Chiba University.
■ Traveling and Chinese medicine
Based on the philosophy of Kampo, we aim to make a better cycle such as the circulation of qi, blood, and water, which is the basis of mental and physical health, the tour of the environment, and the tour of domestic Japanese and Chinese food.
Kampo is a traditional medicine in Japan that originated in China and was introduced to Japan and developed independently in Japan. In Kampo, the mind and body are not separated, and the idea that the human body is also a part of nature is important.
■ Adopt options with low environmental impact
We aim to eliminate plastic as much as possible, such as using renewable glass bottles. The tea bag is made of soylon material derived from sugar cane, which returns to nature.
The boxes are made of eco-friendly ECF pulp paper, and the brochures are made of SFC-certified paper, which certifies proper forest management.
