"If you're tired, let's rest."
These words say everything about Tsukarena Oss Brewery.
Minamiawaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, a small fishing village in the Seto Inland Sea National Park. Our brewery was born from the renovation of an old fishing gear warehouse in a place that used to be a fish farm.
At the foot of Mt. Omi, on the shore of Fukura Bay. In a place that can be said to be the "far end of the island", between the mountains and the sea, we work hard to make beer every day.
Why beer in a place like this?
It was because I wanted to rebel a little against the "too hard work" of modern society.
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and surrender to the rhythms of nature. Don't rush, don't rush, don't overdo it. This brewery was born as a place that embodies such a way of life.
The name "Tsukarenaos" contains the wish "a cup to heal a tired heart".
The island's harsh natural environment, fragility of infrastructure, and sometimes pest damage and illegal dumping also face practical challenges. However, I take such difficulties positively, saying, "I just need to overcome them," and enjoy my days.
Our goal is not just to make beer.
While coexisting with nature and practicing sustainable living, we propose a lifestyle that "does not overdo it, is natural, and heals both the mind and body."
That is the reason for the existence of Tsukalena Os Brewery.
