What are we doing?

By mixing this clay mineral with moisture and wood in a delicate balance, you can coat the wood with clay minerals. After that, it is completed by carbonization at about 850°C using our own developed manufacturing equipment.
Functional ceramic charcoal also has excellent moisture absorption and release properties derived from clay minerals, deodorization properties derived from charcoal, and a function (patented) to screen and deodorize odors.
　
　
In the 25 years since its development, its use as a building material using humidity control functions has increased, and it is now used in systems for air purification in theme parks and large buildings.
Due to the ceramic coating, it is also used in the commercial field of charcoal grilling as flame retardant charcoal.
　
Kinokoto offers interior products with functions such as deodorization, as well as warming support clothing that combines natural materials (silk, organic cotton, etc.) with the characteristics of ceramic charcoal.
The first "silk and charcoal leg warmer" was developed for the purpose of warming the calves and feet, and the first was released 13 years ago.
