Who are supporting us?
When the Lost Coast brewed its first beer, there weren't many craft breweries, especially in California. Small-batch brewing, or microbrewing, was not a promising job that could compete with the giants of the beer world.

Commitment to the product
The cool maritime climate of the Humboldt Coast is a great help in brewing quality ales. The average annual temperature is 55°F, which is very suitable for top fermentation. While keeping the tradition of English-style ales, head brewer Barbara Groom has incorporated West Coast flavors using malt and wheat from the Western Plains and specially clean water from Humboldt County. Although it started small in 1990, the brewery surpassed the production scale of its first brewery, the Château de Pisinu, and set up a larger production site along the same street.
Lost Coast beer is currently shipped to 11 countries around the world, including 21 states across the U.S., three states in Puerto Rico and Canada.
