First of all, the tea leaves used as raw materials do not use any pesticides, and are mainly grown from fallen leaves from the mountains as fertilizer. The unique climate and topography of this land maintain a balance between pests and beneficial insects, creating an environment where tea can grow only through the power of nature. Against this background, our tea is safe and secure, but it is characterized by a taste that can only be produced here.
In addition, all tea picking is done by hand by skilled craftsmen. Since the machine cannot be used on the steep slope, each piece is carefully picked one by one, relying on the sense of the eyes and fingertips. This ensures that only the delicate quality of tea leaves that cannot be sorted by machines is selected, resulting in a deep aroma and mellow sweetness.

The tea-making process is also unique. While the general "deep-steamed tea" is steamed for 60 to 180 seconds, Nakai Samurai Meicha is an extremely shallow steamed tea that lasts only 20 seconds. This preserves the beautiful shape of the tea leaves, which spread out like flowers when poured with hot water. It has almost no astringency and is characterized by an elegant sweetness and a soft mouthfeel.
