⚫︎More familiar circle ⚫of paper resource recycling︎
"I want to be involved in the regeneration of the earth as simply as possible."
With this in mind, the waste paper recycling project started with the release of Japan's seed paper "Blossoming Washi Paper". We would like to spread the waste paper recycling system that makes seed paper from corporate paper waste to the world, and to be close to the earth and the environment as a society.
⚫︎Workshops ⚫with children︎
Papermaking experience = Seed paper making workshops are held irregularly. Ask them to bring paper they don't need, put it in a blender with water to make pulp, add seeds, and use a colander to make homemade seed paper. We will create opportunities for children to think about the earth and the environment.
⚫︎Collaboration ⚫between a manufacturing company with a long history and a welfare workplace︎
The 400-year-old manufacturing technology of Yamanashi Minobu Town and the idea of seed paper, a recycled paper made from seeds, were met to create the Japan seed paper "Hanasaki Washi". Through trial and error, we determine not only the variety of seeds, but also the timing of straining.
The manufacturing and printing process of "flowering washi" is carried out at a welfare work center where people with disabilities work.
Together with historic manufacturing companies, the "flowering washi" that is finished and delivered at welfare workshops is also connected to the promotion of SDGs 8 and 12.
