I want to convey the deliciousness of the tea I met in Sri Lanka to Japan
The launch of the brand was triggered by a fateful encounter on a trip to Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is one of the world's leading tea producing regions. All of the tea we drank there were delicious.
However, one day, I came across a tea with a surprising taste. The clear sweetness and aroma that I felt when I took a sip. The tea leaves were single-origin organic tea, which was clearly different from other teas. When I asked the producer about the organic tea, he emphasized, "We don't use chemical fertilizers to get organic certification."
"What we make is a natural forest, where we make tea with the original taste of nature. The idea of sustainability is our philosophy."
We were struck by the producers' mindset. The taste, aroma, and philosophy that are unique to this place. We wanted to spread this in Japan, so we shook hands with the producers on the spot. Indeed, there are many cheap and delicious teas in Sri Lanka. However, if we import a lot of cheap tea that can be mass-produced at once, there will be many large companies that are more suitable than us.
That's why we thought that importing expensive tea leaves that cannot be mass-produced is what we should do.
The T is the letter before the U in Roman order. The name Teetopia expresses our desire to continue to improve ourselves one step before utopia and to spread wonderful organic tea.
